The Molecular Biosensor and Imaging Center/Bruchez lab is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow for a collaborative DARPA-funded project to build the next generation of implantable fluorescent sensor technology to monitor inflammation and other changes in living organisms, in real-time.

Candidates should have excellent quantitative skills, experience with fluorescence detection, preferably in small-animal models, and extensive molecular and cell-biological experience. Experience with construction and production of AAV vectors for gene therapy or gene delivery, experience with reporter gene constructs and inflammation biomarkers/model systems are highly desired. Candidates with a PhD in Physics, Biology, Chemistry or Biomedical Engineering with suitable experience and expertise will be considered. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
